Nixxes Studio has recently rolled out the eighth update for the PC version of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" and shared the full update log.

The eighth update has significantly enhanced performance in densely forested areas within the game, ensuring smoother gameplay in these specific scenes. Moreover, this update has finally addressed the flickering issue with character hair when utilizing ray reconstruction technology. Players can now confidently activate NVIDIA's RR technology.

This update also brings several visual improvements. For instance, the transitions between wet and dry sections of Spider-Man's suit will no longer show pixelation. Moreover, it resolves an issue where AMD users could encounter rainbow pixelation artifacts when ray tracing is turned on.

The game's stability has seen further enhancements. The eighth update addressed a crash issue that could occur when exiting the game during a vehicle chase. Moreover, it fixed a bug that might render the mouse unresponsive after canceling the character switch pop-up window.

The PC version of "Marvel's Spider-Man 2" launched in January 2025, albeit with a somewhat rushed release. On the bright side, Nixxes Studio has been diligently addressing various issues. As a result, this latest update is expected to enhance the overall gaming experience.
