Recently, Ubisoft's Montpellier studio announced new job openings on LinkedIn. It appears that the studio is currently seeking talent for a new project in the classic platformer series, "Rayman."

It remains uncertain if the ongoing project is a brand-new "Rayman" game or a remake of an older title. Previous reports indicated that Ubisoft's Montpellier and Milan studios are developing a "Rayman" remake under the codename "Project Steambot." This project involves former members of the disbanded team that worked on "Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown," with Michel Ancel, the creator of the "Rayman" series, serving as a consultant.

It is noteworthy that the latest game in the "Rayman" series, "Rayman: Legends," was released on August 30, 2013. This indicates that there hasn't been a new release in this franchise for 12 years.
